I’m not trying to sell you any form of dodgy e-book or “system” about how to make money online. I’m pretty sure you know all about how that story ends, although the sellers of these dodgy “online money-making” e-books, “systems” and “programmes” seem to be keeping right up with the times. They know exactly how to adapt the wording of what’s essentially some of their sales copy which inevitably leads to an offer to purchase whatever it is they’re selling. To this day, I’m yet to hear of someone who has purchased one of these so-called systems and actually gone on to make the money they’re led to believe they’ll be making. The sales copy though is so cleverly-worded that these offers pass by very easily as what we call “legal scams” — legal scams which end just one way, that being disappointment.
The reality of making money online is that you essentially have to come up with some sort of business or perhaps even work online, as is the case in the real, “physical” world. I’m almost even afraid to liken it to the “physical world” because it is indeed still in the physical world. The only difference is that you are able to effectively telecommute and perhaps send the work you complete through by email or a specialised cloud service.
The same applies for web-based businesses — the business principles which apply in the so-called real world don’t change a single bit when you take things online, which is where so many people get it wrong by thinking that the internet will all of a sudden offer them some magic way of doing things that is totally different from how things work in the real world and make them insanely rich very quickly.
So if you want to make money as a professional online gambler for instance, look beyond those revolutionary betting systems which are shoved in your face in a manner which somehow bypasses your pop-up blocker. The secret to really being able to make money online resides in keeping in mind that although things happen much quicker online, there still has to be a real world equivalent of all the transactions which take place online. PayPal betting sites exist only because people need to fund their PayPal accounts in order to have credits for online gambling, so professional online gamblers are nothing more than real-world gamblers who choose the convenience of gambling online, but they do indeed still need to fund their accounts.
The money isn’t magically going to appear out of nowhere and this principle applies to all the different ways in which money can be made online. So keep this in mind and you’ll soon discover that you do indeed have to create your own opportunity to make money online. Nobody is going to sell it to you — well they won’t sell you one that actually works.
